The family winery Torre del Veguer of Sant Pere de Ribes (Barcelona) will participate this weekend at Temps de Vi wine fair in Vilanova i la Geltrú. From Friday afternoon until Sunday night, from June 1 to 3, Torre del Veguer wines can be tasted at stand 33 at the Rambla Principal of the capital of the Garraf region. The great innovation of this year is the exclusive tasting that the director of Torre del Veguer, Joaquin Gay de Montellà Estany, will direct at 6:00 pm on Sunday aboard a catamaran that will travel the coast of Vilanova for one hour. In this tasting you will be able to taste the aromatic and scarce white wine Malvasia de Sitges 2017, the red wine from the medieval stone winery of Jeronimus monks Jerónimus 2016 (made with Grenache and Syrah) and the unique sparkling Clàssic Penedès Marta 2015 (made with the Muscat variety). The great expectation that this tasting has generated has meant that many days before sailing the Temps de Vi catamaran, all the available places have already been used up.
In this 7th edition of the Temps de Vi fair the differential elements of the exhibition are maintained, such as tastings and pairings in different restaurants and cultural spaces of the city of Vilanova i la Geltrú, as well as live music concerts in La Rambla and the essential tastings in catamaran, the differentiating element of this fair that is held next to the sea. The children’s space is also maintained, one of the best valued services of the fair year after year.
